Welcome to our blog

Bookmark us! We promise you will visit us again!

Since its inception in 2004, the DIFC has grown to become one of the world’s top international financial centres connecting the regional emerging markets and the world. Today, the DIFC with its modern infrastructure, free zone status and self governing laws and courts, is globally recognised as the pre-eminent and favoured financial centre in the region.

As we embark on a new phase of growth, continuing to act as a gateway between the region and the world’s capital markets, we are pleased to launch our newly revamped and more interactive website. We believe the new website mirrors the breadth and dynamism of the DIFC today and will chart its future growth on the global and regional financial arena.

In addition to the new design, embedded media and enhanced navigation, the DIFC new website aims to bring the Financial and Business Centre and the Community together, creating a web presence that is a true reflection of what the DIFC stands for.

This is why we decided to have a corporate blog, a medium that we hope will give our visitors the opportunity to take a look inside this unique community, interact with the experts at both the DIFC and client companies.

Our aim is to allow the professionals within the DIFC community such as bankers, financial services providers, lawyers, consultants, investors, etc, to use this platform to share their expertise and thoughts about current topics pertaining to the financial and business world.

To make this blog a successful and useful forum, we need your participation. Everyone is encouraged to join in the conversation and post their own thoughts, comments and questions. Like any other corporate blog, there will be guidelines and comments may be moderated. This is just to ensure that everyone stays on topic – or at least pretty close to it. We pledge to present opposing viewpoints without any prejudice.

Finally, we welcome posts from our DIFC-based clients. If you would like to participate, please contact us at social@difc.ae for further information.

So bookmark this page, email it to a friend/colleague or add our RSS feed. We also welcome your feedback and your ideas on discussion topics that you want to see here in the future.
