Real Property Regulations

The law enacted to govern real property rights (including strata title ownership) was created to protect the rights of buyers, sellers, and leaseholders of all real estate in the DIFC financial district. The system of registration protects ownership property interests enabling property owners to have confidence in that their rights to a property, be it an apartment or a plot of land, are protected under the law. In all its functions, the RRP aims to provide the highest quality of service.

The Office of the Registrar of Real Property is located in DIFC's Gate Building, Level 14 East Wing, and operates from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Sunday to Thursday. The Registrar's office is contactable by telephone, +971 4 401-0888, or by email, property.register@difc.ae.
