The DIFC Family Wealth Centre aims to empower our ecosystem by providing world-class educational initiatives to accompany family businesses in their journey to successfully preserve their legacies and wealth across generations. We provide programs as well as short courses in coordination with the DIFC Academy (through top-tier global educational institutions), as well as with Hawkamah Institute.
The courses are focused on family businesses’ and family offices’ specific needs covering topics such as leadership, governance, business and family law, ESG, and inheritance to enhance the knowledge of family business owners as well as their key team members.

This 3-day (24-26 June 2024), in-person course will be held on the DIFC Academy’s campus in the DIFC in the DIFC, Dubai.
Your family will learn from MIT’s luminary faculty on family enterprise, family wealth, and global change. You will gain practical concepts and tested practices to advance your thinking and decision-making about the future, improve your long-term planning, strengthen your family unity and talent, and shape the roadmap for the future of your family business.
In addition to interactive classroom work and exchanges among families from around the world, the course will incorporate guest speakers from the DFWC’s ecosystem.
Participants will earn a certificate of course completion from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
We strongly encourage attendance in teams of two or more members of a family enterprise, preferably from two generations. This contributes to shared learning and action planning as a family. The course price is USD $6,600 for individual participants.
