Overview

The new DIFC insolvency law and regulations, replace and enhance the existing insolvency and restructuring regime. The insolvency law complements the DIFC’s commitment to international best practice, and provides a range of restructuring and insolvency procedures designed to encourage business and investment. It also provides appropriate levels of protection for creditors and investors whilst enabling distressed businesses to restructure with confidence from the Centre
