DIFC’s Breast Cancer awareness initiative

Overview

In line with the UAE Year of Giving, and in collaboration with Ministry of Health, Al Jalila Foundation and Brest Friends, we invite you to join DIFC’s first Breast Cancer awareness initiative. We are hosting a dedicated event that will provide you with the essential knowledge and understanding about a disease that affects approximately 1.7 million women globally every year.

Specialist doctors will conduct an awareness session, after which, a breast cancer survivor will share her personal story about the challenges she overcame.  You will also be presented the tools needed for early detection, through a self-examination workshop and a mammogram check-up, depending on eligibility. The Mobile Clinic will be located in front of The Gate Building 

Please note that results from the mammogram test will be shared within ten working days. You will be contacted to collect your resultsfrom the DIFC Authority offices (Level 14, The Gate Building), once they have been received.
