DIFC Hosts Art Nights @ Gate Village 3
Press Release 11 Mar 2012 12:28 pmThe Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) announced today that it is hosting Art Nights @ Gate Village on Monday, March 19 from 7-10 pm, as part of the activities leading up to Art Dubai 2012. Having attracted nearly 2000 guests during the last event in January, this year’s second edition of Art Nights seeks to reaffirm the Gate Village’s role in promoting the region’s vibrant art and culture scene.
The ongoing series of Art Nights @ Gate Village has become an essential part of Dubai’s calendar, highlighting the important role that DIFC Gate Village plays in bringing art enthusiasts together. Since its inception, the event has grown in popularity and esteem attracting everyone from art collectors and bankers to young creatives and families. The unique location and lineup of exhibition openings as well as live performances create an exciting ambience and place Gate Village in an integral role in the promotion of arts and culture in Dubai.

Sponsored by Vontobel Bank and supported by DIFC, this forthcoming Art Nights will present a wide variety of events including exhibition openings, special events, live art performances and music. Box Wall 2.0, a large cardboard box wall platform for five Dubai graffiti artists to paint in their unique styles, is one of the highlights this event promises, as well as a special preview of Christie’s upcoming sale.
