DIFC Hosts Art Nights @ Gate Village

Following the summer break and marking the start of Dubai’s new season of art related events, the much anticipated return of DIFC’s Art Nights @ Gate Village will be held on Tuesday, October 16 from 7-9 PM. Aimed at highlighting the significant role that DIFC Gate Village holds in the development of the arts and culture of the UAE, the forthcoming Art Nights will present a diverse program of events.

Combining elements of art, music, design and cuisine, Art Nights will offer a relaxed setting in which Dubai residents can encounter all that DIFC has to offer as one of the city’s most popular centers. Showcasing a wide range of talent, Art Nights will emphasize the great extent to which art has become essential to the Dubai experience.

Sponsored by Quintessentially Lifestyle, this edition of Art Nights will present several new gallery exhibitions, live music, prize giveaways, special events and performances. Of note are a special preview of Christie’s upcoming auction highlights and Art Dubai’s pop up bookstore.

Jeffery Singer, CEO, DIFC Authority, said: “Art isn't just an object of beauty, it can also be an investment. This is the foundation of the relationship between the financial industry and art community, and it makes DIFC the ideal platform to bring these two communities together. Art Nights @ Gate Village creates a fantastic atmosphere in the centre, and we proudly support our galleries in this endeavor."

The evening will be complimented by Break DJ Lobito’s tunes, two live music performances by singer/songwriters Zem Viv and Abbo, live art installation by Emirati artist Maisoon Al Saleh, as well as an interactive drum circle by Sound of Brazil.

Caroline Hargreaves, Quintessentially’s Managing Director, said: ‘As the world's leading members-only luxury concierge service, Quintessentially takes pride in its involvement in the best that any location can offer. So we are naturally delighted to be sponsoring the return of the DIFC Arts Nights’.

Guests are invited to complimentary canapés and drinks provided by The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC, and experience the exclusive design furniture provided by Catertainment.
