DIFC Initiates CSR Campaign with Iftar Meals for its Domestic Workers

Dubai-UAE: 28 June, 2015 - In keeping with the spirit of Ramadan, Dubai International Financial Centre hosts special evenings to provide Iftar meals to the fasting domestic staff throughout the holy month. All domestic employees, including cleaners, construction workers and other domestic help, break their fast on a daily basis at the conference centre in the financial hub.

Speaking about the engagement, Arif Amiri, Deputy CEO, DIFC Authority said: "As part of our commitment towards giving back to the community, DIFC continuously seeks opportunities to help the less fortunate and impact a positive difference in their lives. Our initiative to provide iftar meals to all domestic staff at the Centre also articulates our annual social responsibility agenda that is as committed to supporting our internal staff as much as the external beneficiaries of our humanitarian programmes."
