DIFC Joins UAE Flag Day Celebrations Across the Nation

UAE, Dubai, 01 November 2018: Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) joined the nation-wide celebrations of UAE Flag Day with a flag raising ceremony at the iconic Gate Building, where a gathering of members from the Centre’s vibrant community of over 2,000 firms came together to pay tribute to the unity and pride of the UAE.

“The UAE Flag Day is a special occasion that is symbolic and significant to residents and citizens across the nation. It brings us together to celebrate the true essence of Emirati values and principles”, said His Excellency Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC.

He added: “We are proud of the diverse community of around 23,000 professionals working in DIFC, which is a true example of the inclusive social fabric we have in this country. Guided by the vision of our leadership, we remain committed to our role in supporting the economic development and national prosperity of the UAE.”
