DIFC Raises UAE Flag in Honour of Nation’s Leader

In line with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Flag Day campaign, DIFC celebrates accession of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan as President of UAE

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), represented by senior management of its various entities, employees, and members of the DIFC community, gathered today in celebration of the anniversary of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan as President of the United Arab Emirates.

In line with the Flag Day campaign, a directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Saleh, Governor of DIFC, raised the national flag in honour of the nation’s past, present and future.

His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Saleh commented:

“The UAE has been built on a foundation of unity, integrity, strength and pride. These fundamentals have also been reflected in the establishment, development, growth and success of DIFC over the last ten years.

“For more than four decades, the visionary leaders of the UAE have continued to serve as a source of inspiration for businesses, organisations and individuals residing in the Emirates.  As we look to the future, with bright prospects ahead of us, I have no doubt that this will continue.”
