Dubai International Financial Centre Celebrates UAE's 44th National Day
Press Release 29 Nov 2015 06:22 amDubai, UAE: 29 November 2015 – Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) today hosted a variety of activities in honour of the UAE's 44th National Day.
Held around DIFC's Gate Building, the celebrations began with the UAE National Anthem, followed by a live performance of a local band. A professional henna artist treated guests to complimentary hand art, while chefs served authentic Emirati dishes that were prepared onsite. Guests were invited to a traditional majlis with festive decorations, where Arabic coffee and dates were offered. The DIFC community and visitors also engaged in traditional arts and crafts and took photos with a live falcon and camel, emblematic animals of the UAE.
"The UAE has come a long way since its establishment 44 years ago and we at DIFC are committed to celebrating the country's success and proactively contributing to its socio-economic growth," said Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai International Financial Centre Authority.
"Every year we invite our clients to celebrate the wonderful occasion of the UAE's National Day with festivities to mark the nation's accomplishments and symbolise our commitment to its development.
