Dubai International Financial Centre Welcomes DAR Group as it opens New Corporate Office for its Holding Company
Press Release 15 Jun 2014 07:06 amDubai: 15th June 2014 - In a show of confidence in the Region, Dar Al Handasah (Shair and Partners) Consultants Ltd announced today it has opened its corporate office for the Dar Group of Companies in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
"Dar Al Handasah (Shair and Partners) has operated in the MENA region for 58 years," said Talal K. Shair, Chairman and CEO of the DAR Group of Companies. "Our new corporate location in the DIFC is a validation of our continued trust and confidence in the region."
Since its launch in 2004, DIFC, a purposely built financial free zone, has been committed to encouraging economic growth and development in the region through its strong financial and business infrastructure. Currently, DIFC's client base comprises almost 1,039 active registered firms, including 22 of the world's top 30 banks, six of the top ten insurers, seven of the top 10 law firms, 11 of the world's top 20 money managers and seven of the top ten consultant companies in the world.

The Dar Group was established as a global network of specialized consulting firms working together to provide a full range of services for diverse types of projects. It is a multidisciplinary consulting organization for engineering, architecture, planning, environment, project management, and economics. The new premises located in the Index Tower will serve as the H.Q. and Corporate Office for the Group's investment, strategy and finance office. The Group has served over 950 different clients in 63 countries with a staff of 13,000 operating from more than 50 offices in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the US with five design centres in Beirut, Cairo, London, Pune and Amman.
