Leading international executive search firm to establish base at DIFC
Press Release 06 Sep 2004 01:46 pmOne of Europe and Asia’s leading Executive Search firms, Hogarth Davies Lloyd, has submitted an application to operate from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Hogarth Davies Lloyd is the first such business to apply to the DIFC and its application confirms the unique opportunity the DIFC represents to a broad range of specialist companies.
“I am delighted that Hogarth Davies Lloyd has sought a licence to operate here” said Naser Nabulsi DIFC CEO. “In Europe and Asia, Hogarth Davies Lloyd has over the last 10 years established itself as a top-tier Executive Search business and I have no doubt that the firm will replicate this success in the DIFC.
The DIFC is already attracting blue chip global financial services businesses and of course there is a need for related specialist professional services firms to help them establish and grow. Hogarth Davies Lloyd’s track record in its existing markets suggests that it will play a pivotal role.”
Hogarth Davies Lloyd was established in London in 1995 and specialises in Executive Search for the Investment Banking, Asset Management and Legal & Compliance markets. The firm is rated by the London Professional Recruitment Guide as one of the top four high level banking and financial recruitment specialists and has been the recipient of three prestigious specialist awards for Executive Search awarded by the Economist Intelligence Unit.
In addition to its core Executive Search functions, Hogarth Davies Lloyd offers clients a range of consulting services including institutional and departmental structural analysis and advice and information on contemporary product and market developments.
Hogarth Davies Lloyd’s Dubai office is co-headed by Matthew Dunn and Michael Wolff. Matthew Dunn is the Director with responsibility for Executive Search assignments within Investment Banking and Asset Management. Michael Wolff is the Director with responsibility for Executive Search assignments within Legal, Compliance and Regulatory financial services. The Dubai office is fully integrated with Hogarth Davies Lloyd’s other overseas offices and thus is able to offer its clients access to a global research capability.
Matthew Dunn of Hogarth Davies Lloyd said,
“The DIFC will be a state of the art financial hub on par with markets in Europe, Asia and the US and we believe that by adding Dubai to our network of international offices we are ideally placed to identify and secure the senior talent needed to staff such an ambitious venture.”
Michael Wolff of Hogarth Davies Lloyd said,
“We had identified the DIFC as a key opportunity for us when plans for the venture were first announced. We are thrilled that these plans have come to fruition and are delighted to be the very first Executive Search firm applicant .”
