Currently the world’s leading independent organization working on achieving lasting change in the lives of children in need, Save the Children is one of the first organizations that is there to save lives. They provide food, medical care and education but most importantly they continue to help communities rebuild through long-term recovery programs. Save the Children responds quickly and effectively to tsunamis and civil conflict, as well as working with communities to resolve the on-going struggles children face every day — poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease — and replace them with hope for the future.
