On the evening of 1st October, HE Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi opened “Stories of Hope”; a 15-day photography exhibition held by the international charity Save the Children at the Atrium in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The exhibition is showcasing personal stories of some of the people Save the Children’s programs have helped around the world. Through photographs and video they are hoping to give visitors a glimpse into some of the issues that face children and the work that Save the Children is doing to make a difference.
This exciting exhibit is a wonderful opportunity to share the impact of Save the Children’s work with the people of the United Arab Emirates.
The exhibition is open to the public from the 2nd until the 15thof October. The exhibition is sponsored by the Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and DLA Piper Middle East LLP.
Currently the world’s leading independent organization working on achieving lasting change in the lives of children in need, Save the Children is one of the first organizations that is there to save lives. They provide food, medical care and education but most importantly they continue to help communities rebuild through long-term recovery programs. Save the Children responds quickly and effectively to tsunamis and civil conflict, as well as working with communities to resolve the on-going struggles children face every day — poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease — and replace them with hope for the future.
