Michelin Green Star restaurant BOCA invites you to say it with a delicious meal, a mangrove tree, and an adventure through the mangrove plantations this year.
Treat your loved one to a unique, nature-friendly experience that includes a memorable meal for two, a bottle of French sparkling, planting a mangrove tree, and taking a kayaking trip through the enchanting mangrove plantations of the UAE.
The four-course Pescetarian Valentine’s Day menu includes ‘Dibba Bay Oysters’ served with their signature tomato dressing, local beetroot, and seaweed, followed by ‘Gambas al Ajillo’ featuring gulf shrimp, garlic, chili, and artichoke cream. For sharing mains, choose from a 'Butterflied Gulf Seabream’ with sweet potato puree, samphire and warm vinaigrette or ‘Seared Octopus "Gallega" Style’ with boiled potatoes, paprika, and olive oil. Couples are also invited to opt for the vegetarian menu that includes the restaurant’s ‘Ice Packed Manzanilla Olives’ stuffed with lemon & calamansi, followed by ‘Superfoods & Dessert Plants’ made with organic quinoa & amaranth. Mains include ‘Seared Confit Artichokes’ and ‘Green Spelt Risotto’ made with spinach, broccoli, pistachio & Manchego cheese crumble.
Cap off your meal with a refreshing ‘Lemon & Grapefruit Tart’ served in a kataifi nest with citrus curd, confit skin, lemon albedo puree, and meringue in both the pescetarian and vegetarian options.
To add a touch of sparkle, and inclusive of the package, BOCA is offering a choice between a bottle of artisanal French Sparkling from the house of Frerejean Frères or from French Bloom, Le Rose, 0% Non-Alcoholic.
Plant a Mangrove Tree
In partnership with the local marine conservation nonprofit Azraq, BOCA will plant a mangrove tree on behalf of each couple, accompanied by a personalized certificate card. Your act of planting a baby mangrove tree contributes to the restoration of the UAE's mangrove forests, storing four times more carbon than the Amazon rainforests. Mangroves serve as a sanctuary for wildlife, fostering a vibrant underwater ecosystem and aiding in mitigating climate change.
Kayaking Trip
Valentine’s doesn't stop there – enjoy a one-hour guided tour of mangrove conservations in the UAE on either two single or a double sit-on-top kayak at a day and time of choice. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking views of the mangroves and discover diverse wildlife species thriving in this unique ecosystem.
