Divergent Recoveries in Turbulent Times in the Middle East and North Africa
Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) invite you to a webinar on the IMF Regional Economic Outlook for the Middle East and North Africa.
24 May 2022 03:00pm - 04:20pm
With the global outlook increasingly shaped by the war in Ukraine and sanctions on Russia, what are the implications of this new shock for the region? How is the war’s impact exacerbating the challenges already posed by the Covid pandemic? How can countries in the region navigate this uncertain economic environment while also making progress towards a more resilient, inclusive, and greener future?
A panel of distinguished speakers will explore these and other pivotal issues from the IMF’s newly released Regional Economic Outlook: Middle East and Central Asia, in a discussion moderated by CNN’s anchor and correspondent, Eleni Giokos.
Join us online to learn more about the policy choices countries in the region face as they seek a path towards higher, sustainable, and inclusive growth. Panellists will also take questions from the audience during the Q&A session.
